Job Description:

This contractor will serve as a Product Manager within our Agile/SAFe environment, providing product leadership for our Appian-based enrollment solutions and modernization initiatives. The role is critical to ensuring continuity across the enrollment domain, driving workflow transformation, aligning stakeholders, and accelerating delivery of key business capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, own, and prioritize the product backlog and roadmap in alignment with business objectives and modernization goals.
  • Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable product requirements.
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and QA teams to drive successful delivery.
  • Lead workflow modernization efforts, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, scalability, and user experience through Appian solutions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and PI planning.
  • Ensure traceability from business requirements through delivery, testing, demonstrations, and release activities.
  • Support UAT, stakeholder reviews, and formal acceptance of delivered capabilities.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment, communication, and change management activities to support successful adoption.

Required Experience:

  • Proven Product Manager or Product Owner experience in Agile/SAFe environments.
  • Strong Appian expertise, including workflow design, process automation, and backlog management.
  • Experience leading business process modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience operating in large, complex, and regulated environments; healthcare and enrollment workflow experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic product planning with day-to-day execution.
