  • Perform material testing of soils, aggregates, asphalt concrete, concrete, and cured-in-place plastic pipe.
  • Interpret specifications and standards.
  • Obtain and record lab data, in a legible and organized fashion; as required by the plans, specifications, or project staff. Generate and compile lab reports.
  • Speak with team members for a given project assignment, including the contractor and owner’s representatives.
  • Communicate with all entities keeping everyone fully informed.
  • Maintain testing equipment as required.
  • Understand and follow the public health and safety requirements and the proper safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
