We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Dump Truck Driver/Equipment Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating our dump trucks and various construction equipment to support excavation, grading, and site development projects. Your expertise will ensure efficient material transport and precise operation of machinery, contributing to the successful completion of construction milestones. This position offers an exciting opportunity for skilled operators who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about building infrastructure.
Responsibilities- Safely operate dump trucks to haul materials such as dirt, gravel, asphalt, and debris across construction sites.
- Skillfully operate heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, backhoes, skid steers, and dump trucks to perform site preparation and maintenance tasks.
- Assist with equipment setup, maintenance checks, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working around construction zones to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate material deliveries and equipment usage schedules.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and machinery, reporting any issues or repairs needed promptly.
- Maintain detailed logs of work performed, materials transported, and equipment operation hours for project documentation.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, and track hoes.
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License Class B Minimum) for operating dump trucks on construction sites.
- Extensive construction site experience with familiarity in concrete forming and site development procedures.
- Proficiency in operating various heavy machinery such as loaders, graders, water trucks, tankers, and dump trucks.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction environments.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance checks and basic repairs on vehicles and machinery.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors.
