At Paul Davis Restoration, we help homeowners and businesses recover after fire, water, storm, and other property damage. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Reconstruction Estimator to support our growing reconstruction and emergency services division.
This position focuses on creating accurate reconstruction estimates using scope documentation, photos, 3D scans, and field notes gathered by our Project Managers and field teams. The role also involves estimating, insurance communication and approvals, contract approvals, and supplement management.

- Create detailed residential and commercial reconstruction estimates using Xactimate or Symbility estimating platforms
- Review scopes, photos, 3D scans, sketches, and documentation provided by field teams
- Develop accurate estimates that align with insurance carrier guidelines and company standards
- Submit estimates and supplements to clients, insurance carriers and TPAs
- Communicate with adjusters regarding estimate approvals, revisions, and supplemental items
- Maintain organized documentation and estimate files
- Work closely with Project Managers, Sales Reps, and Operations teams to close leads into jobs
- Help improve estimate turnaround times and overall project cycle times
- Ensure estimates meet profitability and accuracy expectations
- Track estimate status, approvals, and pending supplements
Confirm the initial payment process and draw schedule
- Experience with Xactimate and/or Symbility estimating software preferred
- Construction or restoration industry knowledge preferred
- Strong understanding of residential and commercial reconstruction practices
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Technologically proficient with estimating software, digital documentation, and cloud-based systems
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Experience working with insurance carriers and TPAs
- IICRC certifications a plus
