Student Assistant – Football Video

Position details: student assistant in the Athletics – Football Video department at the University of Georgia. The role focuses on assisting with the operations of the Football Video Department, including operating video equipment during practices and games, editing footage, and other related tasks.

• Operate a camera during UGA football practices and games.
• Import and edit game and practice footage using Adobe Premiere.
• Resolve UGA/opponent game data and support video analytics.
• Create highlight videos and other video content.
• Manage audio needs during practices and set up and break down team meeting rooms.
• Maintain video equipment, perform daily video room upkeep, and clean equipment weekly or as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned based on experience, history, and educational background.

Position requires a strong understanding of video operations, familiarity with Adobe Premiere, and the ability to work during athletics events. Other qualifications are considered based on experience and educational background.
