Data Collection Assistant
Position Title:
Data Collection Assistant
Warnell-Sch Forestry & Nat Res
Duties / Responsibilities- On-site survey data collection at KEMO (Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park).
- Intercept visitors at varying locations to invite them to complete an on-site questionnaire (10–12 minutes).
- Secure completed questionnaires until they are collected by Dr. Kyle Woosnam or research assistants.
- Work up to 8–16 hours per month, with no more than 4 hours per shift. Days are flexible.
- Available to work 8–16 hours per month between January 2024 and December 2024.
- Preferred:
Volunteering experience at KEMO or other national park visitation/planning/management activities. - Resident or near Kennesaw, Georgia (preferred).
- Strong people skills and comfort approaching visitors to participate.
Outdoor work exposed to weather conditions; park tents and UGA apparel provided. Ability to stand and walk during shifts.
