Job Description & How to Apply Below

People Architects is partnering with a multi-brand consumer business to hire a Creative Director to lead their in-house creative function.

This is a role for a design-rooted creative leader, someone who rose through the ranks, knows the tools, can coach and critique, and still has the ability to jump in when needed. You’ll be the brand guardian and creative operator across multiple brands: setting standards, enforcing brand compliance, and running the creative function with clarity, speed, and quality for each.

What You’ll Do
  • Establish, enforce, and evolve brand guidelines across multiple brands and channels (digital, email, paid, social, web, packaging, print).
  • Lead by example and provide clear feedback, fast approvals, strong taste, and consistent coaching that improves the work.
  • Run the creative department like an in-house agency: intake, briefs, prioritization, routing, approvals, timelines, and delivery.
  • Translate brand and marketing strategy into actionable creative that drives customer trust, engagement, and performance.
  • Identify bottlenecks early and implement systems that increase throughput without sacrificing quality.
  • Guide photo/video direction (briefs, shot lists, selects, and post-production feedback).
  • Work closely with marketing/performance, brand leads, product, and leadership while holding standards while collaborating effectively.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of progressive creative experience with leadership responsibility.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design excellence across D2C / e-commerce / consumer brands.
  • Deep fluency in modern design workflows and tools (Adobe suite expected; Figma/other tools a plus).
  • Proven ability to build and enforce brand guidelines and maintain compliance across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience managing creative workflows and teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Ability to balance brand storytelling with operational execution, clear priorities, accountability, and speed.
  • Shopify familiarity is a plus (not required), along with general D2C e-commerce fluency.

We are committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
