Position Summary:
The Department of Psychology at the University of Georgia is seeking a Lecturer to begin Fall 2026. This nine‑month, renewable, promo table position focuses on teaching a variety of core undergraduate courses within the psychology major requirements. The successful candidate will join a nationally prominent faculty, contributing to teaching and learning across the department.
Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate psychology courses, including core and elective courses.
- Develop and deliver engaging course materials and assessments.
- Participate in department meetings and curriculum development.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Psychology or a closely related field is required.
- Strong teaching record and commitment to undergraduate education.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience or expertise in quantitative methods (e.g., undergraduate research methods and statistics).
- Published scholarly work is an advantage.
