Instructor – Broadmoor School

Our Agency is searching for an Instructor for the  Broadmoor School year.

• Supervises assistants, interns, volunteers assigned, and others assisting in the instructional program.
• Provides instruction for assigned class of students with developmental disabilities. Instruction includes all major areas of development, based upon students Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and curriculum.
• Conducts assessments of each student’s current status in relation to the curriculum and IEP goals and objectives.
• Develops systematic instructional procedures and methodologies for each student based on the IEP and individual learning characteristics of each student.
• Implements instructional activities and procedures to attain individualized goal and objectives.
• Designs activities to improve the performance of chronological age-appropriate and functional skills in as many school and non-school environments as possible.
• Documents ongoing individual progress on each student’s IEP goals and objectives.
• Modifies, as necessary, teaching methods, materials techniques, classroom organization, and other learning environments, to facilitate learning and goal attainment.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field
• Possess or be eligible for Intervention Specialist teaching license as required by the Ohio Department of Education (ODE)
• Valid State of Ohio driver’s license
