- Workdirectlywithavarietyofstudents(behavior,learning,activitiesofdailyliving,communication,community-based instruction,vocation development)
- Implementprogrammingandbehaviorplansundersupervisedsupporttoincludedatacollection
- Implement the Marcus Crisis Prevention Proceduresmodeltosupportstudentswithunwantedbehaviors
- Assistwithclassroomdailyactivitiesandlessonstohelpstudentsdevelopskillsandindependence
- Abilitytoassistinliftsand/orphysicallymanagestudentsofvaryingsizesandweight
- Reliable transportation
- Abilitytoparticipateinphysicalinterventions,when necessary,usingcertifiedsafetytechniques(training provided).Physicalinterventionsarealastresortandtargetedtobereduced,howeverwhentheyoccur,theymayrequirephysicalexertion.
Physicalrequirementsinclude,butarenotlimitedto:kneeling,lifting,bending,twisting,andholdinginaquickpacedenvironment.
