Elementary Intervention Specialist Teacher (Anticipated)
Summary:
Crestview Local Schools, Van Wert County, Ohio is seeking a professional educator certified to teach children with learning disabilities. This elementary position is effective for the school year. Salary and benefits are per negotiated bargaining agreement.
- Hold a proper certification and/or licensure for the state of Ohio as follows:
Intervention Specialist K-12 Mild/Moderate (196140) - Embrace collaborative work with administration and teacher-based teams
- Have knowledge and experience with standards-based instructional practices, formative assessment methods and educational technology
- Have knowledge in identification and service of students with special education needs
- Ability to write effective IEPs and monitor students’ progress toward goals
- Embrace opportunities to work with parents in supporting student learning with a strong desire to see all students succeed
