Location: Carlisle Contract: Temporary / Bank / Expression of Interest Hours: Flexible Employer: The Supply Register (on behalf of Carlisle College)
We are currently recruiting Health and Social Care Lecturers to support Carlisle College. This is a great opportunity for experienced lecturers or professionals from the sector looking to move into teaching.
The RoleAs a Health and Social Care Lecturer, you will deliver engaging lessons and support learners preparing for careers in healthcare and social care settings.
Key Responsibilities- Delivering Health & Social Care lessons (BTEC / CACHE)
- Supporting coursework and assignment completion
- Preparing learners for placements and employment
- Monitoring learner progress and providing feedback
- Promoting safeguarding and professional standards
- Experience in Health and Social Care or related field
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with BTEC/CACHE (desirable)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
