Work Schedule: August 19, 2024 - June 5, 2025, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Caseload: High School Inclusion (24 students)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Kelloggsville, OH, for the  school year. This full-time position involves working closely with high school students in an inclusion setting, providing essential support and specialized instruction to ensure each student’s success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate & Progress-Monitor IEPs: Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students, ensuring their educational needs are met and progress is tracked effectively.
  • Deliver Specially-Designed Instruction: Provide targeted, evidence-based instruction tailored to each student’s needs, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Provide Acmodations/Modifications: Implement necessary acmodations and modifications to support diverse learning needs, ensuring equitable access to the curriculum for all students.
Qualifications
  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Proven experience in a high school setting, with a focus on inclusion and individualized instruction.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage a caseload of 24 students.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with students, parents, and other educational professionals.
