Salary Range: $18.27/hr – $20.07/hr
Critical Need Stipend $3.50 per hour & ECE Instructional Assistant Stipend $1.00 per hour

Exceptional Child Education programs are designed to meet the needs of the student whose approach to learning is different from that of his/her peers. The school District is committed to providing a high-quality education for the student with disabilities. A variety of programs, techniques, methods, and materials are available and utilized for individualized instruction.
Scope of ResponsibilitiesRecognizes that all responsibilities are basically supportive. Assists in implementing each student's individual education plan. Helps establish and maintain a pleasant, safe, and structured learning environment. Displays willingness and aptitude to work with students with disabilities.
Minimum Qualifications- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Passing score on the KPA (Kentucky Para educator Exam) or 48 college semester hours.
- Willingness and aptitude to work with students with disabilities.
- Physical ability and willingness to assist with physical needs of students such as positioning, toileting, and lifting.
- Willingness to attend district ECE in‑service for professional growth.
