We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Intensive Support (IS) Teacher for a full-time position in the Orwell/Geneva, Ohio area. The ideal candidate will provide specialized instruction and support to students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Position Details:

• Schedule: Full-time
• Location: Orwell and Geneva, OH
• Caseload: Self-contained ASD classroom of 8 students (with potential for some mainstreaming)
• Students: Middle and high school ages

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with ASD
• Provide direct instruction and support in a self-contained classroom setting
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals
• Utilize behavior management techniques and strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio teaching certificate with Intensive Support endorsement
• Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorder
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and families
