- Salary
Schedule:
1A Grade 8 (attached) - Salary Range: $24.52/hr - $26.96/hr
- Working Calendar: 187 days / 7 hours per day
- ECE Instructional Assistant Stipend: $1.00 per hour
- Choice Zone Stipend: $1.00 per hour
- Assist in implementing individual education plans for students with disabilities.
- Help establish and maintain a pleasant, safe, and structured learning environment.
- Display willingness and aptitude to work with students with disabilities.
- Support physical needs of students, including positioning, toileting, and lifting as required.
- Attend district ECE in-service training for professional growth.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Passing score on the KPA (Kentucky Para educator Exam) or 48 college semester hours.
- Willingness and aptitude to work with students with disabilities.
- Physical ability to assist with positioning, toileting, and lifting of students.
- Willingness to attend district ECE in-service for professional growth.
If your highest education is High School or GED, you must pass the Kentucky Para educator Assessment Exam. The exam is free and you have three chances to obtain a passing score. Applicants with transcripts obtained outside the U.S. must have their credentials evaluated prior to being considered for this position.
