About the RoleThe Honors College at NKU is seeking part-time adjunct faculty. Faculty members will teach honors courses. These positions report to the Associate Dean of the Honors College.
Duties- Teach between three and nine hours (1-3 classes) of college writing and/or reading per semester.
- Provide support to students through office hours.
- Align assignments and curriculum with programmatic and university student learning outcomes.
- Master’s or PhD
- Experience teaching writing/reading and/or working with first-year college students
- Experience with interdisciplinary research and learning
The pay for a three-credit varies slightly based on years of experience and education but is projected to be between $2700 and $3000 per three-credit course.
