The role …      We are currently seeking an Engineering Co-op to be a part of a team working on nuclear and military HVAC projects. You will be involved in the design, engineering, manufacturing, and testing of custom-designed HVAC systems, including chillers, air conditioners, high-efficiency filtration, and absorption systems, coolers, fans, dampers, and accessories.
This is a 1st shift position located at our manufacturing facility in Batavia, OH.
** You will…
*** Utilize and apply the principles of engineering, organizational, and interpersonal skills in a real-world engineering environment
* Interact with engineering, design, manufacturing, purchasing, and sales personnel, as well as our customers
* Support the development of equipment designs that are safe, functional, reliable, economical, serviceable, and marketable
* Select and specify components, materials, and purchased parts, including writing specifications for custom components
* Investigate and resolve manufacturing, test, and service problems as they arise
* Perform other duties as assigned
** We are looking for…
*** Candidates seeking a BS/MS Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering
* Candidates who are 1-4 years away from graduation from an Engineering School or University
* Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
* Candidates who preferably have CAD or drafting experience
* Highly motivated candidates with great communication skills
** Just so you know…
*** This position is an entry-level co-op role
* Our co-ops are assigned to a senior-level engineer who mentors you
* We are looking to hire candidates who are in good standing with your university and/or field of study
* The duration of our co-op assignments is typically 10-12 weeks, dependent upon your school’s co-op rotational program
* We require pre-employment drug/alcohol testing and a background check
