Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer
Our client is seeking a Corporate Engineer to support capital projects, equipment design, process improvements, and safety-related upgrades across multiple industrial facilities.
This is a hands‑on engineering role for someone who enjoys both office‑based design work and time in plant environments. You will help develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and detailed designs for mechanical and process equipment used in industrial production facilities.
Responsibilities- Develop project scope, budgets, and installation schedules
- Size, select, and design industrial process equipment and mechanical systems
- Create P&IDs, PFDs, heat and mass balances, equipment lists, piping lists, motor lists, and tie‑in lists
- Work with internal controls, automation, electrical, CAD, and mechanical installation teams
- Coordinate with vendors and internal resources on equipment sizing and design
- Support installation activities and document field changes for project closeout
- Provide technical solutions when process or installation challenges arise
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Experience with industrial process equipment, plant engineering, or capital projects
- Ability to work effectively with engineering, controls, electrical, CAD, and installation teams
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- AutoCAD knowledge is helpful
- Rendering process or equipment installation experience is a plus
- Willingness to travel overnight to plant locations, approximately 20% to 30%
