CoreResponsibilities
Manage projects, client relations, and staff delegation.
Lead and participate in wetland and waters delineations, report writing, and federal and state JD requests.
Prepare permit applications for USACE, state, and local agencies.
Coordinate with USFWS and state agencies on threatened and endangered species effects determinations.
Conduct wetland and stream assessments, categorizations, and support restoration, mitigation, and native habitat projects.
Support other disciplines as needed and travel for field and office work, including occasional overnight and out‑of‑state travel.
You’ll thrive here if you haveBachelor’s degree in a related environmental field required; MS preferred.
4–8 years of wetland delineation and waters permitting experience
Valid driver’s license, clean record, U.S. work authorization, and drug screen.
Ability to perform fieldwork in rough terrain and inclement weather, carrying up to 30 lbs.
Knowledge of USACE manuals, Clean Water Act 404/401, and permitting processes.
Wetland plant identification; experience with GPS, ArcGIS, and electronic field data collection.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong communication, technical writing, multitasking, project/budget management, teamwork, and staff training skills.
