Position dictates applying extensive and diversified knowledge of engineeringprinciplesandpracticestothemanagementofassignedprojectswhilemaking independent decisions.
Individualwillberesponsiblefordevelopingandmaintainingclose workingrelationshipswithclienttoincludeprofessionalandsocialinteractionwithkeyhome officeandsiteindividuals.
Thispositionrequiresindividualtobealiaisonbetweenclientand company.
Positionincludesidentifyingclientneedsandexpectations,includingupcomingmajorprojects andcommunicatesthoseneedstotheapplicableindividuals.
Positionalsoincludesobtainingclientfeedbackregardingworkperformanceandfacilitatesimplementationofprocess improvements,as appropriate.
Also,individualwillworkwithclienttoaddressandresolve issuesthatmaydeveloprelativetoprojectscopechanges,qualityofservices,cost,or schedule.
Successfulcandidatewillcoordinateandparticipateinthepreparationofproposalsforclientworkbyworkingwith Discipline Engineering Manager sand Account Managerstodevelop project scope,approach,technical assumptions,staffing,schedule,and pricing.
ResponsibilitiesKeyactivitiesaremonitoringthestatusofallon-goingprojectstoincludebudget,schedule,scopechanges,reviewofdeliverablesrelativetoscopeandclientexpectations,participation in companyweeklyschedulemeetingandpreparationofmonthlystatusreports.
The selected candidatewillensurethatcontractualrequirementsaremet,addresses,and resolves contractual issues,initiatescontractchanges,andfacilitatespaymentforservices.
Candidate willberesponsibletoreview,approveandcorrect(asneeded) invoicesapplicabletoproject work.
Additionally,responsibleforunderstandingandcommunicatingtocompanystaffclient’s processesandprocedures,andfacilitatestrainingofcompanystaff,when needed.
Individual shallhavepracticalknowledgeofroutineprecedentdesign,workingknowledgeof engineering principles for applicable solving problems.
Candidateshallhavetheabilitytocoordinateprojectsfromearliestphasestobudgets,design throughissuanceofconstructiondrawings,andfinalprojectcompletionclose-out.
Candidateshallprepare Project Plans ,budgetsandschedulesandberesponsibletocontroltheproject scope,budget, and schedule.
Education Required(minimum):
BSinengineeringorothertechnicalspecialtyfromanaccredited university with course work in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or similar technical scope is required.
Experience Required (minimum):10 years (minimum) of experience with design engineering,projectmanagementandclientrelationsisrequired.
Experiencewithoperatingplantprocedures,processes,budget analysis,andbudgetforecastingisrequired.
Abilityto manage,motivateandorganizeteammembers,communicatingandprovidingtechnical direction and task assignments is required.

Required Qualifications (minimum):
All applicants must possess excellent verbal andwrittencommunicationskillsaswellaspresentationskills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software ;
Word,Exceland Power Pointisrequiredwithcompetencyinsoftwareapplications foremailanddatabases.
Effectivetimemanagementskillsarerequiredaspositionmay involveworkingonseveralprojectsconcurrently.
Knowledgeofandexperienceinproject schedulingtechniquesisrequired.
Successfulcandidatewillberequiredtounderstandand complywithcompanypolicies,procedures,processesaswellasthosefinancialobligations thatwouldapplytoprojects.
Abilitytopasssecurityanddrugscreeningandmaintain unescortednuclearplantaccessisrequired.
Overtimeworkisrequired.
Travelisrequiredto client sites.
Abilitytoperformwalkdownsofequipmentinanindustrialplantenvironment,to includeclimbingladders,accessing security-controlled areas,andenteringconfinedspacesand controlled hazardous areas is required.
Preferred Education:
MS in engineering or other technical specialty from an accredited universitywithcourseworkinmechanical,electrical,chemical,orsimilartechnicalscopeis desired.
Certification(s) or License(s)
Preferred(minimum):
Professional Engineering registration(EIT or PE), and Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification are highly preferred.
