We are seeking a Civil Engineer or Civil Designer to support land development projects from concept through construction. This role involves site design, grading, drainage, and utility layout for commercial and residential developments.
Responsibilities- Prepare site development plans including grading, drainage, and utility design
- Assist with stormwater management design and calculations
- Develop construction documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies
- Support permitting and entitlement processes
- Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with cost estimates
- Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (or relevant design experience)
- 1–6 years of experience in land/site development (internships count)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Knowledge of grading, drainage, and utility design principles
- EIT certification or ability to obtain is preferred (for engineering candidates)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Exposure to commercial, residential, or mixed-use development projects
- Experience with stormwater design software (Hydro
CAD, etc.)
