We are seeking a Project Scheduler to support large-scale capital transmission and substation programs within an electric utility or EPC environment. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules across multiple work streams to ensure alignment with project milestones, construction sequencing, procurement timelines, and overall program delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules supporting transmission and substation capital projects from planning through construction and closeout
  • Build detailed schedules that incorporate engineering, procurement, permitting, outage coordination, construction, commissioning, and turnover activities
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, construction teams, and contractors to gather schedule inputs and maintain accurate project timelines
  • Identify schedule risks, critical path impacts, float consumption, and potential delays to support proactive mitigation planning
  • Track project progress against baseline schedules and provide regular reporting on milestones, earned progress, and schedule performance
  • Support schedule updates, forecast analysis, and change management related to scope adjustments or project delays
  • Coordinate schedule alignment across multiple concurrent projects and ensure consistency with portfolio-level priorities
  • Participate in project meetings to communicate schedule status, key dependencies, and upcoming milestones
Qualifications
  • Experience supporting transmission, substation, or utility capital projects within an electric utility or EPC environment
  • Strong background in project scheduling for engineering, construction, or infrastructure programs
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms
  • Understanding of utility project life cycles, outage coordination, procurement lead times, and construction sequencing
  • Ability to interpret engineering deliverables, project timelines, and contractor schedules
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills
