Job Description & How to Apply Below
We are seeking a seasoned Hydraulic Design Expert to lead the R&D of high-end hydraulic components and systems. This role is critical in driving our technological transformation towards high-precision, high-pressure, and intelligent hydraulic solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in fluid power mechanics, precision manufacturing synergy, and system integration.
2.Key Responsibilities
A. Strategic Technology Planning
- Lead the technical roadmap for high-end hydraulic products (Pumps, Valves, Motors, Cylinders, Power Units).
- Track and evaluate global advanced technologies (e.g., electro-hydraulics, digital hydraulics, smart hydraulics) and implement technology upgrades.
B. Core R&D and Design
- Lead the conceptual and detailed design of complex hydraulic systems; perform system modeling, simulation, and parameter optimization.
- Own the structural design of core components, focusing on materials, heat treatment, sealing technology, flow path optimization, and surface engineering.
- Troubleshoot sophisticated technical challenges including micro-leakage, cavitation, noise & vibration (NVH), and thermal balance.
C. Integration with Precision Manufacturing
- Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM), optimizing designs for precision machining, honing, lapping, and assembly processes specific to our capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with the Process Engineering team to control deformation and ensure micron-level tolerances.
D. Validation & Reliability Engineering
- Establish test benches and protocols for performance, endurance, and reliability verification.
- Conduct FMEA, root cause analysis, and accelerated life testing to improve MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).
E. Technical Leadership
- Build and mentor the hydraulic R&D team; establish corporate standards, design specifications, and knowledge repositories.
Education & Background
- Master’s degree or above (Ph.D. strongly preferred) in Fluid Power Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
- Solid theoretical foundation in fluid dynamics, tribology, automatic control theory, and mechanical design.
