Sr Mechanical Engineer

Senior Mechanical Engineer – Robotics

Location: Campbell, California (on‑site, full time)

• Execute subsystem and system‑level verification activities, including development and execution of test protocols and reports
• Support system builds, integration, and troubleshooting of robotic hardware and electromechanical systems
• Drive root cause analysis and implement effective solutions for mechanical and system‑level issues
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Electrical, Systems, Quality, Manufacturing) during integration and test phases
• Support early deployments, installations, and field issue resolution as needed
• Contribute to design updates, ECOs, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance reliability, usability, and manufacturability
• Assist in development of test methods, fixtures, and validation strategies

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• ~5–8 years of experience in hardware development, system integration, or sustaining engineering
• Hands‑on experience with electromechanical systems, including build, test, and troubleshooting, with familiarity in precision motion components (gears, lead screws, bearings, encoders, servo motors)
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues across mechanical and system interfaces
• Experience working in cross‑functional environments and driving issues to resolution
• Ability to implement design updates and ECOs using CAD (Solid Works preferred)

• Experience in medical devices or other regulated industries
• Familiarity with design controls, verification/validation processes, and quality systems
• Experience supporting products through integration, pilot builds, or early production
