Test Engineering Manager

Job Description

In this role you will be supporting the Manufacturing process improvements. You will work with an Engineering team to ensure the product has been completed and Quality Controlled. Once QC has been completed this product will go to testing to ensure it is working properly:

• Interact with Engineers
• Work with the Software Team
• Interact with clients on project completion
• Manage test engineers
• Manage process improvements
• Set corrective actions in place

• Provide Level 3 tech support on trouble shooting/ failure analysis for server/rack/storage/GPU products
• Provide guidance of test plan for new products
• Verify scripts from software develop team, give green lights for deployments
• Improve test plan & test script to improve efficiency
• Make improvement on coding and reduce UI and labor cost
• Maintain reporting tool/website from test DB
• Globally support test escalated issues
• Leadership, provide technical direction to testing engineering team
• Hiring and retaining test engineer talents
• Manage the test department and up to 5 direct reports

• Bachelor Degree or above, major in engineering or related
• 5+ years above in server/rack/storage/GPU industrial
• Knowledge of programming and databases (Python and MySQL are required, PHP is preferred)
• Demonstrated knowledge of Lean & Six Sigma principles of continuous improvement
• Skilled in debugging and root cause analysis
