Job DescriptionSeeking a Senior Cold Room Automation Engineer to lead the design, construction, commissioning, startup, qualification, validation, and operation of CO2 cold chain systems in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.
The ideal candidate will serve as a technical SME supporting cold room automation, refrigeration technologies, ASRS‑enabled cold storage systems, and integrated automation platforms while ensuring compliance with GxP, safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 10+ years of industrial refrigeration and cold room design experience
- 5+ years of CO2 refrigeration/cold room design and operation experience
- Experience with automated cold storage systems (ASRS preferred)
- Strong CQV, validation, commissioning, and startup experience
- Knowledge of PLC, HMI, SCADA, OT/IT integration, and industrial networks
- Strong understanding of GMP/GxP regulated environments
- Experience working with QA, CSV, manufacturing, warehouse, and engineering teams
- Strong project leadership and communication skills
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
- Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry experience
