Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join our aerospace and defense engineering team in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and testing of ruggedized electronic systems for mission-critical applications. You will collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to develop technical requirements, design analog and digital circuits, power supplies, and sensor integration solutions, and ensure products meet performance and reliability standards.
Responsibilities- Perform circuit simulations and tolerance analyses.
- Create and execute test plans.
- Troubleshoot hardware using standard lab equipment.
- Produce technical documentation.
- Lead design reviews.
- Support root cause investigations.
- Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong expertise in analog/digital circuit and power electronics design.
- Proficiency with SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, Altium or PADS.
- Experience with EMI/ESD, DFM, and electronic testing.
- Experience with Electronic Safety and Arming Devices (ESADs) is preferred.
- Candidates must be eligible to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
This is a full-time position with a 4/10 work schedule and 5–10% travel.
