Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day engineering support for operating utility-scale wind facilities
- Identify, evaluate, and resolve equipment reliability and performance issues
- Analyze SCADA data, event logs, inspection findings, and operational trends
- Support resolution of routine and moderately complex operational issues
- Collaborate with field personnel, Asset Management, OEMs, and contractors to resolve equipment issues
- Support operational safety reviews and contribute engineering perspective to incident investigations
- Develop and improve monitoring tools, dashboards, and analytics
- Support pilot projects evaluating new tools and performance improvement opportunities
- Assist with power performance testing evaluations
- Has typically acquired 6 or more years of related engineering experience along with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in any U.S. state or Puerto Rico is encouraged and preferred
