Microsoft Server, Network Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Network and Server Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to become an integral part of our unique team! Acendex is like the IT department for companies that don't have one. Our niche means you will be involved with a number of different networks in a number of different environments; there's always something new to discover, engineer and improve!

• With co-workers, design and implement local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data and server networks
• Stage and install new Microsoft Windows Physical and Virtual servers.
• Every day is different. Opportunities abound to grow in your craft as you partner with peers to work on:
• Server Clusters
• SANs
• SQL
• Disaster Recovery
• Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
• Private Cloud Hosting
• Server and storage virtualization
• Others
• Utilize network monitoring and management tools to performance tune systems.
• Work in teams to define designs for business technology initiatives
• Utilize Group Policy to enforce standards for systems
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and products

• Several years of experience
• Knowledge of Zero Trust Remote Access Solutions and Policies
• Industry Certifications such as A+ MCP, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, CCIE, etc.
• Strong leadership and client relation skills
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask
