Sr. Project Manager Mechanical & Process Piping

Messer Construction is seeking a Sr. Project Manager - Mechanical & Process Piping to lead complex commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. You will own planning, budgeting, and execution of mechanical and piping scopes, driving safety, quality, and schedule performance. Responsibilities include coordinating with owners, designers, and trade partners; managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders; and overseeing subcontractors. You will mentor project engineers, champion BIM/VDC and prefabrication, and model Messer's culture of integrity, collaboration, and community commitment.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of mechanical and process piping scopes on large commercial and industrial projects
• Coordinate with owners, designers, trade partners, and internal teams to align scope, budget, and schedule
• Oversee subcontractor performance, RFIs, submittals, and change management for mechanical and piping work
• Ensure strict compliance with Messer safety standards, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements
• Manage cost control, forecasting, and reporting for assigned project scopes
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolving field issues quickly to maintain schedule and quality
• Support BIM/VDC and prefabrication strategies to optimize project delivery
• Mentor project engineers and field staff, fostering collaboration and continuous learning
• Participate in client meetings, progress reviews, and project closeout documentation
• Contribute to process improvement, lessons learned, and company best practices
