JOB SUMMARYThe Sunnyside Lead Wellness Advisor will advise customers—recreational, medicinal, and caregivers—in selecting appropriate cannabis products, acting as an ambassador to normalize, professionalize, and revolutionize cannabis. The role sets the standard in customer service, product knowledge, and compliance, and assists in onboarding and training new hires.
As a Lead Wellness Advisor, you will have:- Experience leading and managing a team of hourly members; recruiting, onboarding, training, employee relations, coaching.

- Assist Wellness Advisors with customer consultations and handle standard questions or complaints.
- Educate customers on cannabis products and their effects.
- Apply selling and cross‑selling techniques to build baskets.
- Verify proper documentation and customers.
- Confirm order accuracy; perform bag and receipt checks.
- Label and package customer orders.
- Perform accurate cash handling in the POS system following SOPs.
- Investigate cash, POS, or product discrepancies and record appropriately.
- Troubleshoot technical issues in the POS system.
- Maintain accurate records of dispensary activities per state regulations.
- Perform routine inventory counts.
- Ensure product stock organization and compliance.
- Assist managers with merchandizing and product displays.
- Ensure store security and safety compliance.
- Maintain an organized and clean store environment.
- Assist with onboarding and training Wellness Advisors, ensuring compliance with policies and laws.
- Escalate employee‑relations issues promptly to management.
- Execute opening and closing procedures, including register preparation and inventory reports.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of customer service experience; cannabis experience preferred.
- Flexibility to work opening, closing, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and product information consultatively.
- Understanding of cannabinoids and their effects on the human body.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance).

Eligibility for full‑time or part‑time roles may vary by location or position.
PAY RANGE$17.50 – $17.50 USD per hour.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must comply with all legal and company regulations for industry work.
