An IC3 Senior Sports Trader is a seasoned professional, responsible for pricing the more critical events, identifying and managing risks, overseeing bet settlement, and performing advanced analysis to provide useful insights to Management.

An IC3 Senior Sports Trader is expected to demonstrate the ability to draft trading and risk management strategies for diversified sports books, have deep understanding and familiarity with the sports betting business (bookmakers, markets, rules, betting trends) and must be focused on improving customer experience by suggesting alternative practices and processes.

• Executes pre-determined trading and risk management strategy and techniques (pregame and live betting monitoring and compiling along with updating odds) for all sports and betting environments within OB
• Leads the analysis and interpretation of basic statistical data, and provides strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
• Ensures Payout and Sales targets are met for all available projects and comes with suggested alternatives or corrective actions in case of discrepancies or ad hoc requirements
• Drives team and departmental KPIs, ensuring collective performance aligns with and advances overall company targets. Proactively identifies gaps, implements corrective actions, and supports colleagues in achieving their objectives.
• Oversees pricing and liability strategies across sports or portfolios, ensuring alignment with risk appetite and profitability goals
• Analyzes and communicates team performance trends, recommending actions to management to improve results.
• Drives continuous improvement initiatives across the team, ensuring productivity gains and alignment with company objectives.
• Innovates in developing special/PR markets, identifying opportunities to engage customers and enhance product offering.
• Oversees the end-to-end settlement process for all sport events, ensures accuracy and compliance across systems, provides guidance to the team, and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Shapes cross-functional collaboration with Product, Marketing and Support teams, ensuring alignment with business needs and trading objectives are supported in customer-facing activities

• Previous experience in trading roles of 4+ years
• University Degree in Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
• Ability to draft trading and risk management strategies for diversified sports books
• Deep understanding and familiarity with the sports betting business (bookmakers, markets, rules, betting trends)
• Customer-focused, focused on improving customer experience
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with ability to act accurately under pressure
• Great attention to detail with the aim to provide quality results in a short time
• Confident to make quality decisions under pressure
• Computer literacy with in-depth knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong awareness of the sporting calendar
• Ability to work flexible hours in line with the needs of the business and the sporting
