Senior Staff Accountant

Join a growing and well‑established manufacturing business as a Senior Staff Accountant

You’ll play a key role in supporting core accounting and payroll activities, partnering closely with finance, HR, and plant leadership to ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement. • Manage daily and monthly bank reconciliations
• Oversee cash and treasury reporting
  , maintaining accurate daily cash balances
• Process weekly and semi-monthly payroll
  , ensuring compliance with all procedures
• Partner with HR to resolve payroll issues and implement process improvements
• Perform monthly AP/AR reconciliations with sister plants
• Support month‑end close
  , physical inventory counts, audits, and budget preparation
• Submit 401(k) contributions
  , review tax payments, and maintain strict payroll confidentiality
• Act as a backup for AP/AR functions and maintain supporting documentation
• Assist with financial reporting and provide technical accounting support as needed

• Good understanding of US GAAP
  , IFRS, payroll, AP/AR, and cash management
• Comfortable working with financial systems and reporting tools
• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
• Ability to explain financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders
• High school diploma or GED required;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred

• This role requires onsite work at the company’s facility in lower Kentucky.
