Financial Manager, Corporate Finance, Financial Analyst, Accounting & Finance
A growing, highly specialized manufacturing organization is seeking a Controller to support a blend of FP&A, cost accounting, and operational finance activities. This role is ideal for a finance professional who is comfortable owning financial performance, partnering closely with ops, and helping improve costing visibility and business decision‑making in a manufacturing environment.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior finance leadership, take ownership of core financial processes, and contribute to a business that is expanding and investing in its finance function.
CompensationTarget base of $95k-$115k, with flexibility for the right candidate, plus bonus eligibility
Work ModelOn‑site for first 90 days, then hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days remote)

Key Responsibilities- Lead FP&A and cost accounting activities in support of business performance and operational decision‑making.
- Partner closely with operations on budgeting, forecasting, labor and overhead analysis, and financial performance reviews.
- Maintain and improve standard costing and broader costing processes.
- Support financial planning cycles, including annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Provide reporting and analysis to help leadership better understand operational and financial performance.
- Work with ERP and reporting tools to improve visibility, consistency, and decision support across the business.
- Collaborate with senior finance leadership on key priorities and special projects.
- Contribute to process improvement efforts related to costing, reporting, and operational finance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience owning finance and business performance within a manufacturing environment.
- 5–10+ years of background at the Assistant Controller, Director of FP&A, Accounting Director/Manager, or similar level preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills, including strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Advanced Power BI skills required.
- Strong ERP experience is required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both finance and operations teams.
- Manufacturing finance experience with exposure to standard cost environments highly preferred.
- QAD experience would be a plus.
