Senior Cost Accounting Analyst - Top Manufacturing Firm!

Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 per year

About the Company

Our client, a well known manufacturing firm, is seeking a Cost Accounting Leader to join its growing team - high growth opportunity!

Responsibilities
  • Perform regular cost accounting tasks, including inventory valuation, cost of goods sold calculation, and overhead cost allocation.
  • Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
  • Participate in the budgeting process, including forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to understand production costs and make recommendations for financial optimization.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing clear and concise explanations of complex financial data.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in manufacturing finance.
    • Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a financial analyst role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in cost accounting and cost analysis.
  • Private equity experience highly preferred.
  • A deep understanding of manufacturing processes and their financial implications.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make sound recommendations.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A CMA or CPA certification is a plus.
