Our client, a growth-oriented manufacturer, is seeking a Vice President of Finance to be a strategic and hands‑on leader responsible for overseeing all financial functions within the organization. This role partners closely with executive leadership to drive financial performance, support operational scalability, and ensure disciplined financial planning across a manufacturing and supply chain environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Financial Leadership & Strategy- Lead the company’s financial strategy, including long‑range planning, capital allocation, and growth initiatives
- Serve as a key advisor to the executive team on financial performance, risks, and opportunities
- Support strategic initiatives such as expansion, operational scaling, and potential M&A activity
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to improve cost structure and margins
- Drive KPI development and performance tracking across manufacturing and logistics functions
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
- Oversee month‑end close, financial statements, and audit processes
- Maintain strong internal controls and compliance frameworks
- Lead cost accounting practices, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory controls
- Improve visibility into manufacturing costs, labor efficiency, and material spend
- Support pricing strategies and profitability analysis across product lines and customers
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships
- Optimize inventory, receivables, and payables processes
- Evaluate capital expenditures and ROI for equipment, automation, and facility investments
- Build and lead a high‑performing finance and accounting team
- Develop scalable processes and systems to support company growth
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and cross‑functional collaboration
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA and/or CPA preferred)
- 10–15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including senior roles in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong experience with cost accounting, supply chain finance, and multi‑site operations
- Proven ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented business
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
