Auxiliary Accounting Student Analyst
Position to support review and audit of general ledger details, assist in monthly financial analysis, perform reconciliations, and help prepare journal entries for the month‑end close process.
Responsibilities- Conduct general ledger reviews for various accounts such as depreciation, salaries/fringe benefits, and FMD charges.
- Assist with monthly financial analysis, comparing actuals to budgets and prior year figures.
- Perform reconciliations for accounts including prepaids, inventory, and unearned revenue; initiate journal entries as assigned for monthly and fiscal year end.
- Validate and verify monthly financial statements and other reports.
- Conduct and document camera/cash audits as required.
- Current student in the Tull School MAcc graduate program.
- Background or coursework in accounting/finance or a related business field.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and effective organizational abilities.
Competitive hourly rate of $18.00/hr standard office hours are 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Monday–Friday, with a schedule that accommodates class commitments.
