Permanent Opportunity!
Up to $90,000k (DOE)
New Albany, Ohio (Onsite)
What the position offers:- 15 paid time off days per calendar year; prorated for the 2024 calendar year
- Paid holidays; based on calendar year, but most generally 10 paid holidays per year

- Manage and coordinate the preparation and filing of all tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and other relevant filings
- Monitor tax law and regulation changes to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for tax optimization
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize the organization's tax liabilities while maximizing tax benefits
- Conduct tax research and analysis to guide complex tax issues and transactions
- Lead and supervise a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
- Represent the organization in tax audits, inquiries, and negotiations with tax authorities
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, and legal teams to integrate tax considerations into business decisions and transactions
- Provide tax planning support for business expansion, restructuring, and other strategic initiatives
- Prepare and review tax provisions, estimates, and disclosures for financial reporting
- Maintain accurate tax records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 1-3 years of public accounting
- CPA certification is preferred
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Experience with tax software and ERP systems, such as Ultra Tax and SAP
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex tax issues and provide strategic recommendations
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interact with senior management
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing and developing a team of tax professionals
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
