Job Overview

Finance. Financial Planning & Analysis. Onsite at plant in Logan, Utah.

Responsibilities
  • Support development and maintenance of accurate product costs and analyses for new products.
  • Audit and maintain accurate costs within the cost system.
  • Ensure product cost changes are effectively communicated.
  • Facilitate establishing systems, processes and procedures to collect and record data required for internal and external reporting, including maintaining accurate inventory, charging costs to the general ledger, determining appropriate accruals, assisting with explanations for period results, and maintaining a strong system of internal controls.
  • Provide financial analysis for planned capital expenditures and ensure accurate recording of fixed assets in the fixed asset system.
  • Support and complete bi‑weekly milk reconciliations with suppliers and monthly milk reporting for external customers.
  • Contribute to a culture that thrives on continuous improvement and the development of knowledge and skills.
  • Perform other job‑related tasks as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
  • 3+ years of work experience, including 2+ years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with word‑processing, graphics, flowcharts or other software.
  • Curiosity about leveraging technology and automation to improve processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive process improvements.
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance (at least state minimum) and acceptable driving record may be required for travel.
