About this Opportunity

As a Qualified Plan Trading Specialist I, you will be responsible for ACH and check deposits and research, contributions, distributions, and a variety of qualified account financial transactions. This position is responsible for the timely and accurate actioning of advisor and client requests within budget according to defined service level metrics. As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us.

It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work as a Hybrid employee
, with three (3) or more days each week required on-site at one of the listed office locations.

Candidates should be located within a commutable distance to an office. Internal candidates currently aligned to an Orion office location may be given preference; however, internal candidates with varying work arrangements may be considered based on experience and business needs. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a good order review of all requests received into the workflow queues under current Qual Trading team.
  • Execute all task-types in the queues under the current Qual Trading team:
    Loans, Off-Cycle Fees, QRedemption, Qual Systematic Redemptions, Qual Trade Internals, Trade Requests and Trade Research.
  • Review and process additional requests and reports from our business partners daily and the Daily Recon process.
  • Communicate with advisors via email in an effective, professional manner on requests received not in good order.
  • Understand the complete OPS structure to function across OPS Service and OPS Operations.
  • Assist with procedure updates.
Qualifications
  • Possess knowledge of investments.
  • Has minimum of a high school diploma required and prefers a bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance preferred, or related field.
  • Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.

Salary Range

$20.67 - $29.57

The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
