Pro Mach’s Financial Shared Services Organization is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to own and evolve Accounts Payable. This position reports to the Senior Director of Financial Shared Services and oversees Accounts Payable services for primarily North America Finance operations. The Financial Shared Services Organization is a USA based, onshore operation. This position may be based in either Cincinnati, OH or Alexandria, MN.
The Operations team is located in Alexandria, MN. This new role serves as a strategic architect of a modern, scalable, and highly automated Accounts Payable function. This leader will shape and execute strategy around automation, service expansion, and partnering with the business to harmonize the End-to-End value chain of Source-to-Pay. This position is ideal for a finance operations leader who thrives at the intersection of people leadership, enterprise transformation, and measurable business impact.

Provide enterprise ownership and strategic direction for Accounts Payable. Partner and drive change with business unit leaders from sourcing to procurement, to harmonize end-to-end policy, controls, and processes, across the entire Source-to-Pay value chain. Translate enterprise finance and business strategies into multi‑year roadmaps, operational goals, and execution plans. Lead, inspire, and develop high‑performing AP leaders and professionals.
Performance ManagementProvide overall service delivery of invoice processing, vendor management, travel and expenses, payments, help desk services, and regulatory reporting. Own service level agreements and key performance indicators to measure efficiency, effectiveness, customer experience, and value creation. Provide executive leadership for issue resolution, root‑cause analysis, and cross‑functional problem solving.
Transformation, Automation & InnovationDefine and execute a modern Accounts Payable transformation roadmap, leveraging automation, AI‑enabled solutions, supplier self‑service, and predictive analytics. Partner closely with the Finance Center of Excellence, IT, and third‑party providers to pilot, scale, and embed sustainable digital capabilities. Create a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, learning, and innovation.
Business Compliance, Internal Controls, and Reporting InsightOwn process documentation including process maps, SOPs, policies, and RACI models. Ensure strong internal controls aligned with enterprise governance, risk, and compliance frameworks. Provide transparent, executive‑level reporting and insight to stakeholders.
Qualifications- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field required.
- Master’s degree and/or CPA is preferred but not required.
- 10 to 15+ years of professional experience, preferably with experience in finance and/or accounting leadership positions.
- Manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated progression into increasingly senior and complex roles.
- Demonstrated success leading Accounts Payable, Source‑to‑Pay, or Shared Services operations within complex, multi‑entity multi‑ERP organizations.
- Proven experience driving enterprise‑scale transformation, automation, and change management initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to influence, challenge, and partner effectively at all levels.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
