About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead critical areas of our global tax function, including income tax accounting (ASC
740), foreign tax compliance and reporting, and tax structuring for acquisitions and integrations. This hands‑on leader will partner across Finance, Legal, Treasury, and Corporate Development to ensure accurate financial reporting, efficient compliance, and value‑added planning in a complex multinational environment. Reporting directly to the VP, Corporate Tax, this leader will help shape the tax footprint and structure of a fast‑growing, global organization.
Income Tax Accounting (ASC
740)
- Own quarterly and annual tax provision process, including current and deferred tax calculations, valuation allowances, uncertain tax positions (FIN
48), and effective tax rate analysis. - Prepare and review tax footnotes and disclosures for consolidated financial statements; manage external auditor requests and tax‑related controls.
- Lead global forecasting of ETR, cash taxes, and balance‑sheet tax accounts; partner with FP&A on scenario modeling.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls, provision systems/tools, and process documentation.
- Oversee global corporate income tax compliance across foreign subsidiaries—calendar, filings, and local statutory requirements.
- Assist with withholding taxes, permanent establishment analyses, and cross‑border intercompany charges in collaboration with Transfer Pricing.
- Coordinate global tax audits and inquiries with local advisors; track exposures and settlements.
- Drive data governance and standardization for global tax reporting; implement process improvements and automation.
- Support cash tax optimization, repatriation strategies, and foreign tax credit utilization.
- Collaborate on transfer pricing policies, documentation, and controversy support (BEPS/Local File/Master File) in coordination with the TP team.
- Monitor global tax legislative changes and communicate business impacts; develop practical playbooks and internal guidance.
- Mentor tax staff; manage external advisors and budgets; foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required; CPA preferred.
- 8–12+ years of progressive corporate tax experience (Big Four and/or multinational industry experience preferred).
- Deep expertise in ASC
740 and U.S. federal corporate tax; strong exposure to foreign tax regimes and cross‑border issues. - Familiarity with transfer pricing concepts, intercompany transactions, and BEPS requirements.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects, manage stakeholders, and meet tight deadlines in a matrixed global organization.
- Strong systems orientation (tax provision software, ERP, and data tools); advanced Excel skills.
