Director – 401K Relationship Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of business of defined contribution.
• Serve as the primary contact for the client and work with a team to manage, educate, and resolve client issues.
• Build relationships and meet the needs of Plan Sponsors.
• Actively facilitate Investment Review meetings.
• Collaborate closely with Investment to create effective investment strategies and develop solutions that benefit clients/Fidelity.
• Assist Plan Sponsors with plan corrections, resolve operational defects, provide plan and participant literature, and address contribution inquiries.

• College degree preferred or equivalent work‑related experience.
• Series 7 and 63 required.
• 8+ years of Relationship Management or Client Service experience; preferably within the Retirement/401K industry.
• Experience in retirement plan record keeping and administration.
• Experience in relationship management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organization, time management skills, and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving skills.
• Effective presentation skills, influence, and negotiation skills.
• Verifying client agreement about issues and options before implementing solutions.
