What you’ll do
  • Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Manage the budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis, to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee cash flow management, including monitoring cash reserves and optimizing working capital.
  • Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support for business initiatives and projects.
  • Conduct regular financial audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board of directors, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends.
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with all tax regulations at the local, state, and federal levels.
  • Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements, implementing strategies to enhance profitability.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations to ensure the company remains compliant and competitive.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions, providing financial insights that inform business direction and growth opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with Quick Books and Net Suite is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Nice to have
  • Experience in the technology or software industry is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with international accounting standards and experience in a multinational environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of tax planning strategies and compliance for various jurisdictions.
Skills & tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting tools.
  • Experience with data visualization software to present financial data effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
