Overview

The Key is the largest provider of private pay in‑home care for aging seniors in North America. We hire caregivers to support clients living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other cognitive impairments with personalized 1:1 care in the safety of their homes.

Responsibilities

• Cognitive & behavioral support: gentle reminders, redirection, and structure to reduce confusion and anxiety.
• Personal care: assisting with dressing, grooming, hygiene, and meals with respect and patience.
• Maintaining home safety and housekeeping: basic cleaning, laundry, and organization.
• Transportation: driving clients to appointments, running errands, and grocery shopping.
• Companionship: offering conversation, music, memory games, or sensory activities tailored to cognitive needs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
• Compliance with state background screening requirements and eligibility to work in the U.S.
