Position: PMHNP for Women's Health

We understand that access to behavioral health providers is limited, often with long wait times. Linq Care can help by providing your organization with a full range of behavioral health services, including psychotherapy and psychiatric medication management services virtually to improve access to patients.

Purpose

The Psych Nurse Practitioner for Women's Health will provide psychiatric medical services by teleconferencing to patients. Providing the highest quality of health services to clients in accordance with agency policies and procedures. All full-time employees are required to work 40 hours per week.

Job Duties
  • Responsible for providing direct primary behavioral health care to patients including history taking, evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients
  • Establish medical diagnosis for common short-term or chronic behavioral health problems
  • Prescribe medication as necessary and appropriate in accordance with state and federal laws
  • Perform therapeutic and corrective measures - patient education
  • Evaluate, diagnose, manage, and treat conditions; seeking consultation as deemed necessary
  • Ensure the completion of all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and work rules and regulations
Qualifications
  • Must be a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with applied knowledge of medical/nursing terminology and nursing practices and procedures.
  • Must have a Master’s in Nursing and PMHNP certification with psych knowledge of medical/nursing terminology and nursing practices and procedures.
  • Must be able to practice and prescribe in the state of assignment(s)
  • Comfortable with various types of technology
  • Must be able to provide workspace at home that is suitable for work and have access to broadband internet
