North Key Community Care is seeking a Team Leader of Crisis Care and Response
. This position will be full-time on-site, Monday-Friday, 4:30 pm - 1:00 am. Flexible as needed, including participating in the on-call rotation.

    Master's degree independent/non independent licensure rate starts at $60,000 to $80,000. Bachelor's rate starts at $55K (Must have a BA in the Human/Social services field).

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in mental health discipline
  • Ability to work after-hours on-call shifts as scheduled.
  • Strong team leadership skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to operate an Electronic Health Record and other technology as necessary.
  • This position requires some travel and reliable personal transportation.
  • Crisis experience required and supervisory experience preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
  • Provide training, oversight, direction, and consultation to staff providing after-hours behavioral health crisis evaluation and intervention services, including mobile crisis responders, 988 call takers, and on-call therapists.
  • Assist with behavioral health crisis programming, ensuring assessments are completed and providing support to team members.
  • Monitor compliance and performance of 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline requirements.
  • Complete 988 and on-call therapist monthly shift schedules.
  • Monitor compliance of behavioral health crisis team members.
  • Monitor adherence and documentation of all clients needing emergency crisis services, and ensure that clients are connected to the appropriate service and/or assessment in the required time frame.
  • Ensure 24/7 coverage for mobile crisis assessments and 988 calls.
  • Engage in verbal de-escalation of individuals in crisis to encourage their participation in treatment.
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation.
  • Provide administrative supervision to assigned staff.
  • Ensure access to necessary assessments within required time frames for all crisis services, including mobile crisis, urgent care, crisis stabilization, 202

    As, and other crisis evaluations.
  • Utilize best hiring and staff development practices to establish and maintain a competent and cohesive crisis services team.
  • Maintain compliance with standards of care defined by the Kentucky Department of Medicaid, Department of Aging and Independent Living, Office of the Inspector General, Department of Behavioral Health, and other state entities related to organizational designation as a Community Mental Health Center and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) by the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
  • Maintain compliance with standards of care defined by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services related to service line and service delivery.
  • Maintain compliance with standards of care of the Joint Commission to assure accreditation related to the service line and service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, grants, and program guidelines.
  • Achieve, promote, and maintain a strong working relationship with other team leaders and related clinical staff.
  • Achieve, promote, and maintain strong working relationships with community treatment partners, jails, county courts, and law enforcement.
  • Assist with implementation of expanded services and work as part of a clinical team to provide expanded services under federal grant-funded programs.
  • Provide current and up-to-date information to the Lead Manager of Mental Health Crisis and Engagement Services.
  • Perform comprehensive, timely reviews of supervises to ensure competence.
  • Achieve and maintain active involvement with various community groups that further the positive image of North Key Community Care and the services provided by the organization.
