We are seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, maintaining accurate patient records, and managing inventory. In this role, you will ensure medications are dispensed in full compliance with applicable regulations, contributing to the safe and effective care of patients.

• High school diploma or equivalent; must be 18 years or older
• Ohio State Board of Pharmacy registration within 30 days of employment
• PTCB Certification or ability to obtain certification within 180 days of employment
• Ongoing continuing education (CE) as required by state law
• Prior experience in a retail pharmacy setting is preferred

• Ensure strict adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding drug dispensing, including proper handling, security protocols, and accurate documentation, especially for controlled substances.
• Expedite prescription processing, ensuring compliance with legal guidelines and policies.
• Serve as a liaison between the public and pharmacists, offering assistance and information as needed.
• Communicate with third-party providers to verify insurance eligibility, secure prior authorizations, or resolve rejected claims.
• Handle phone inquiries and assist customers at the counter or service window in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist in purchasing and maintain appropriate medication and supply inventory levels.
