Kingston Care Center of Sylvania is seeking a passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. In this role, you’ll help residents enhance communication, improve swallowing, and strengthen cognitive skills in a supportive, resident‑focused environment in Sylvania, Ohio.
Responsibilities – What You’ll Do- Conduct assessments, diagnose communication and swallowing disorders, and create individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy sessions for speech, language, voice, swallowing, and cognitive‑communication challenges.
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and outcomes accurately in the EHR system.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and families to ensure coordinated care.
- Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy goals, safe swallowing practices, and communication strategies.
- Maintain compliance with Ohio regulations and Kingston’s standards of care.
- Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
